Apple Orange Peel flavor joins the Tanka product line
The team at Native American Natural Foods is excited and proud to announce a new addition to our Tanka product line: Apple Orange Peel. This new flavor is set to roll out first in the Tanka Sticks by the end of March. It will be followed by Apple Orange Peel Bars and Bites by late Spring.

Featuring our same 100% natural Buffalo meat and tart-sweet cranberries, the new flavor adds the sweet flavor of apples and a bright hint of orange peel. Savory and fruity, the new flavor will offer the same great health benefits of our other Tanka products and only 70 calories!

As our product offerings have grown, a number of customers and industry professionals have told us our red and yellow color palette made it hard to distinguish between our flavors and that the package design was hard to read. Many people said they had mistakenly purchased Spicy products when they meant to buy our original flavor.

Therefore, starting with the launch of the Apple Orange Peel flavor, we are also introducing new packaging for the Tanka product line. This new packaging is designed to clearly communicate the various Tanka flavors and product benefits and to allow us to easily expand with more flavors in the future.

We love that we are able to incorporate the image of the buffalo into our new company logo, and the colors of the Lakota four directions into the Tanka brand name. Our iconic buffalo runner will appear on the reverse side of our packaging. Going forward, the buffalo runner will be closely connected with the Tanka Fund, our non-profit organization dedicated to the return of the buffalo to the People and the Land.

Our existing Tanka products -- the Original and the Spicy Pepper Bars, Bites and Sticks and the Tanka Dogs -- will be released in the new packaging later in the year.
