I was more than a little excited about our recent exhibit with Onnit Labs at Paleo f(x) in Austin, TX, this month. The event gave us a great opportunity to continue spreading the word about our awesome partnership with Onnit and our co-branded product with them, the NEW Warrior Bar. The entire staff who worked the Onnit/Tanka booth were super fit, too, and knew their stuff about proper nutrition.
Me with the very hard-working Lindy Lillard, event coordinator at Onnit. We had a great time setting up the booth and working as a team.

Not only did Tanka Bar lead me to living a paleo lifestyle, which, in turn, improved my health, but I've met some amazing people during this journey. I got to catch up with all of them at the event as well as make new friends and of course, NEW Tanka fans!

I finally got to meet the always encouraging Sara Eye of Austin Primal Fitness and Nutrition, whom I have interacted with online for a few years, but have never met in person. Turns out her daughter, Kelli, pictured on the left, has wanted a bag of Tanka Bites every day!

One of the things that was great about our booth at Paleo f(x) is that it was located at the heart of a lot of activity. There was always someone working out, swinging kettle bells, doing handstands and pretty much making me envy some spectacular strength! One of the groups, Gymnastic Bodies, invited me over to work out with them. Nope! No pictures of me doing that (I hope)! Although I had a blast, I think I might need some work.

After my first day at Paleo f(x), I ran out of samples -- completely. Luckily I was staying in a home with other paleo people who were not only great to room with and wonderful company, they were sweet enough to help me cut new samples.
Lori Ramsey and April Greer-Boyd, both Paleo f(x) volunteers. Thanks to Shirley McLean, vendor/sponsor chair of the event, for arranging the home. I'd have pics of her, but she was all over the place tending to things!

When all was said and done, people were fed, worked out and hugs were exchanged. And the kindness continued to overflow as the young lady on the right (pictured below) named Julia insisted on helping me pack up at the end of the final day.

Thanks to everyone who helped me and stopped by our booth to enjoy Tanka. You made my week!
