Tanka helps put bison 'back on the table' according to 'Cowboys & Indians' magazine
Tanka Bar is featured in the February/March edition of Cowboys & Indians magazine.

The article titled "Bison is Back on the Table" on pages 84-90 covers a short history of bison, the industry, the connection to Native America and bison recipes. Tanka CEO Karlene Hunter and Mark Tilsen, president, are mentioned on page 86 as a business trying to "convert reluctant palates." In addition, Tilsen spoke about the importance of bison to the Earth.

"Not only are Tanka Bars helping to restore our traditions and culture, but also our ecosystem...When buffalo live on the grasslands, the prairie becomes reborn. Plant diversity and predators come back; the prairie comes to life. Not to mention the fact our product is also good for you and tastes great."
