Two of our newest partners, Kent Pilakowski and Bruce Hickie from IGNITE Sales Management, visited our headquarters in Kyle, SD, this week to discuss future initiatives for the Tanka brand.
IGNITE, which "focuses on the natural/organic and specialty products industries and works with clients of all sizes and needs," was on Pine Ridge Reservation to kickoff Native American Natural Foods' 2011 sales plan.
The IGNITE team brings many years of food industry experience to the Tanka team. Kent Pilakowski, president of IGNITE, has a 13-year sales background from General Mills, Inc. Bruce Hickie, who will focus on Tanka sales strategy and channel growth, has more than 20 years of experience in the natural foods industry, including Applegate Farms and HomeGrown Naturals.
Team members from Native American Natural Foods who participated in the planning session were CEO Karlene Hunter, President Mark Tilsen, Manager of Inside Sales Georgia McGaa, Operations Manager Karlene Janis and Director of Marketing Linda Crider.
