Some of our Tanka team had a great time at the recent Lakota Nation Invitational Basketball Tournament in Rapid City, SD

The annual event highlights athletes and talent across Lakota communities. Teams from our home reservation of Pine Ridge participated including Little Wound School which is just down the road of our office in Kyle, SD. Production Manager Tonya Hunter was on the scene to pass out Tanka and spread the word. Mindy Hunter, a friend to Tanka Bar, took photos.

"It was really great watching all the teams compete. This year I not only watched basketball but I watched the JROTC and cheer competitions," Tonya said. "Come Saturday I was exhausted and I am just a spectator."
