Tanka Bar hit the Big Apple this week when our inside sales manager Eugene Stover and president Mark Tilsen handed out Tanka products at Columbus Circle in New York City.
A film team has been following our company for a documentary about innovative social entrepreneurs and they filmed the team in New York not only at Columbus Cirlce but also at a tasting at Fairway Market.
As part of a series of films commissioned by Tribeca Film Institute in partnership with American Express, the film is being directed by award-winning film maker Gini Reticker (Pray the Devil Back to Hell, among many others) and produced by Andrew Fredericks, who has 20 years experience in making public television and independent documentaries.
"We were really excited to be able to share our product with the people of New York," Mark said, who also mentioned being encouraged by the film's production. "We hope this film will make even more people aware of Tanka and our social message."
The team also got to have lunch with people of Tribeca Film Institute.
