Representatives of the World Wildlife Fund visited our Tanka headquarters recently to meet with our CEO, Karlene Hunter, and president, Mark Tilsen.
WWF is the world's leading conservation organization, works in 100 countries and is supported by 1.2 million members in the United States and close to 5 million globally, according to the WWF website. WWF is also currently bolstering efforts to make bison America's national animal.
The visit from WWF acted as an introduction to the Tanka company in order to learn more about the buffalo industry and the restorative efforts of the Tanka Fund in hopes to create a partnership.
