Tanka featured in prominent Native food magazine
Native Foodways magazine is a new publication that highlights food and culture among Native American communities. Tanka is featured in the magazine's current issue.

According to their website, "Native Foodways Magazine is published by Tohono O'odham Community Action (TOCA). TOCA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a healthy, culturally vital and sustainable community on the Tohono O'odham Nation in southern Arizona."

The piece on Tanka, which is located on page 13, makes mention of Tanka Sticks as a better alternative to other jerky competitors, "Throw away the Slim Jim and replace it with a plain or apple-orange peel Tanka Wild Buffalo Stick. Great for school lunches."
