Olivia Casey, COO

Olivia Casey brings over 30 years of supply chain and project management experience, both domestic and international, to Tanka Bar. Having started her career in print journalism as a writer and editor, Olivia was the co-author of the first industry supported publication on pagination, which positioned her to move into technical management. She was the lead project manager for A.H. Belo Corporation’s development of a ground-breaking database management system that incorporated print, broadcast and digital platforms into a unified serving environment.

In 2003 she started a company with her husband to leverage that expertise into business process outsourcing in China, eventually partnering with Mark Tilsen and Karlene Hunter’s Lakota Express to form Blended Solutions, a best in class BPO organization that incorporated the Kyle, SD based customer support services with back office data entry services in China. The company extended those services to include product sourcing, logistics management and fulfillment for a variety of industries. When Mark and Karlene formed Tanka Bar, she served as an unofficial advisor for establishing a supply chain and assisting in an informal role with product development, coming aboard as Director of Supply Chain and New Product Development in 2014.

Olivia is an avid rock hunter and enjoys RVing with her husband and rescue dogs Bubbles the Doberman, Barney the Border Collie and Sherman, a Golden Pyrenees.
